Jakarta, September 15, 2026 – Asian Tigers Indonesia was pleased to support the Mexican National Day celebration held at Museum MACAN in Jakarta on 15 September 2026. Our team contributed to the event by creating the stage and photo backdrops, with designs inspired by the vibrant scenery of Xoximilco in Mexico.
The colourful setting added a festive element to the evening and gave guests a place to capture memories of the celebration. For Asian Tigers Indonesia, it was an opportunity to contribute our practical experience to an occasion that brought together people from different communities and cultures.
Celebrating Mexico in Jakarta
The Mexican National Day celebration brought together representatives of the Indonesian government, the diplomatic corps, international organisations, the Mexican community, and business partners.
Indonesia’s Minister of Tourism, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, attended the event as guest of honour, adding to an evening focused on Mexico’s national heritage and the relationship between Mexico and Indonesia.
For Asian Tigers Indonesia, supporting events that bring international communities together is a natural extension of our work. As a moving company serving people and organisations across Indonesia and the wider region, we work with customers from many different backgrounds.
Relocation often involves more than moving household belongings, furniture, or personal effects from one address to another. It can also mean adapting to a new city, country, workplace, or community. Through our work, our movers have the opportunity to interact with people from different cultures and understand the importance of making transitions as smooth as possible.
Our involvement in the Mexican National Day celebration offered a different way to contribute to Jakarta’s international community.
Bringing the Event Setting to Life
A key part of Asian Tigers Indonesia’s contribution was the creation of the stage and photo backdrops.
Inspired by Xoximilco in Mexico, the designs introduced bright colours and visual elements associated with Mexico to the event space at Museum MACAN. The backdrops helped establish the setting for the evening while providing guests with a dedicated space to take photographs and remember the occasion.
Creating event environments is a practical way for our team to contribute to occasions such as this. It allows us to apply our experience in moving, handling, and supporting physical environments in a setting outside our usual relocation and storage services.
For Asian Tigers Indonesia, the result was not simply about creating a backdrop. It was about helping the event reflect the character and visual identity of the celebration.
A Celebration of Culture and Friendship
One of the highlights of the evening was the traditional Grito de Independencia.
Led by Mexico’s Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Francisco de la Torre Galindo, and Madame Carolina Beltrán-Girón, the ceremony invited guests to join in the call of “¡Viva México!” The programme also featured the national anthems of Mexico and Indonesia, alongside culinary traditions from both countries.
Together, these elements created an evening centred on Mexican history, culture, and national pride, while also recognising the connections shared between Mexico and Indonesia.
For Asian Tigers Indonesia, being involved in the celebration was an honour. Supporting an event that brings together diplomatic, business, community, and cultural representatives reflects the diverse international environment in which our teams operate.
Supporting the Communities We Serve
Our work takes us into many different communities. Whether helping a family with a relocation, supporting an organisation with a move, or providing storage during a transition, our role is ultimately about helping people navigate change.
We are pleased that our capabilities can also contribute to occasions that celebrate culture and strengthen connections between communities. Asian Tigers Indonesia was honoured to play a part in the Mexican National Day celebration in Jakarta and to help bring its visual identity to life.
