On April 13, 2019, ANZA Soccer ended another season with great success and to the satisfaction of many little players, parents, and supporters. So promising is this organization that it hosts age 4 through 7-year-old kid matches to introduce a fun and interactive way in learning and at the same time enjoying the game of soccer. This season was made more special because of the continued support of Asian Tigers Group Singapore, whose sponsorship has hence proven key in guaranteeing the success of the league.

The last day of the season was a festive day; the expectation and excitement were glared in the eyes of the youngsters. As they walked to the field for their last games, the enthusiasm and joy were reflected on every pass, tackle, and goal. ANZA Soccer league is purely a junior league developed to help kids learn the essence of teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance. All these were brought out in full over the recently concluded league season, and the final gathering of parents, kids, and friends was to celebrate child champions who had given their all.

Kerry Low, General Manager of ANZA, was effusive in her thanks to Asian Tigers Group for their unwavering support. “A huge thank you to Asian Tigers Group for all their support with ANZA Soccer,” she shared. A collaborator with the right resources and necessary infrastructure in running the league in a fluent and hassle-free manner is the changing, mutual way of ANZA’s partnership with Asian Tigers Group. The equipment was better, the events were better organized, and overall, a better way of experiencing the fun reached every young player and his or her family.

But more than anything, ingredients for the season’s success were seen in the smiles and laughter of the children, and in the affable, happy community spirit that seems almost omnipresent in this league. Parents, coaches, and volunteers were all a part of what made this season successful. This could only be done through the nurturing environment the children had to develop on and off the field. An end-of-the-season celebration was proof of how much a community could do, with everybody coming together for the sake of children to recognize and cheer them on.

All the excitement now lies in anticipation, as registrations for the new season have just kicked off. With high interest and a pace at which registrations are flying in, it could be a testament to the popularity of the league and the second-to-none experiences of past participants. Plans for the new season are already shaping up to be as exciting and rewarding as previous years.
