Bill: Thanks. Absolute delight to be here.

Host: Excellent. Bill, I know you’ve been in the biz for a long while, but when exactly did you first join Asian Tigers?

Bill: Yeah. I’ve been in the mobility industry for approximately a thousand years. But join Asian Tigers as soon as I could back in 2004. You know, everyone knew what a great reputation they had and they went the extra mile for customers.

Host: Bill, you’ve had an array of experiences in international relocation. Can you share a particularly memorable story with us today?

Bill: Love to. So a few years back, we had an expat that was moving from Jakarta to Singapore, and this wasn’t just any normal move. I did the survey myself, of course, when I walked into the living room, this guy had a massive collection of fragile porcelain collectibles. You know, the the dolls that are about this big with the little fingers thinner than toothpicks? He had more than 200 pieces and each required meticulous custom packing and handling.

Host: So it sounds like a bit of a challenge.

Bill: Well, indeed it was. But but our team went right to crafting these custom packages for every single one of these figurines. And, you know, they were they were carving little foam bases for each guy to fit into. And we built these custom boxes, poured in foam pellets. Just an absolute customized pack job from from A to Z. And then, of course, on the day that we’re moving things out of the apartment, there was a massive downpour of good old Jakarta rain. And it was like being in the gym with a buddy who just kept stacking on plates. It was out of control.

Host: That’s classic Indonesia. I’m guessing everything went well, though.

Bill: The amazing thing was, I mean, we’re talking about two forty foot high cube containers, including all these other glass items and just fragile goods that he had. Every piece arrived without a scratch, and it was a true testament to our team’s dedication and expertise. And, by the way, an insurance policy that was worth more than a quarter million dollars without a single claim.

Host: God. Stories like that, they highlight the importance of specialized packaging and care when you’re moving delicate items in. And for those moving art and fragile items, insurance always. Custom creating climate controlled transport are key. And always, always, always higher a professional. We’ll leave you with the top ten list of things to remember when transporting your own personal treasures. Thanks for your time, Bill.

Bill: No worries. Pleasure. Thanks again.
