Making a Splash in Pink: Asian Tigers Malaysia Kicks off Pink October

Malaysia, October 5, 2026 – Asian Tigers Malaysia is kicking off its Pink October campaign in style, bringing the team together throughout October to recognise the importance of breast cancer awareness and encourage healthy choices.

Every Friday during the month, the staff members participate in an event or activity that focuses on health – this initiative allows the workers to gain knowledge about breast cancer while the company encourages the colleagues to dedicate time to their wellbeing and professional relationships.

For Asian Tigers Malaysia, this month is a period to create instances where the employees unite for an important cause. It is also a chance to introduce simple activities that can encourage healthier habits and make wellbeing part of everyday workplace culture.

Starting Pink October with a Healthy Drink

The first Friday of October brought the team together to prepare a colourful homemade drink called Golden Watermelon Coconut Glow. Made by Asian Tigers Malaysia staff, the drink combined fresh ingredients to create a bright and refreshing blend.

The ingredients included:

  • Fresh watermelon
  • Coconut water
  • Fresh ginger root
  • Ground turmeric
  • Fresh lime juice
  • Black pepper

The result was a bright drink that combines the sweetness from the watermelon with the flavors of the coconut water, lime, ginger and turmeric.

More importantly this event shows that simple communal experiences are useful. Preparing something together can create an opportunity for colleagues to connect, have fun, and enjoy a moment away from their usual routines.

A Simple Way to Encourage Wellbeing

Workplace wellbeing does not always need to involve complicated programmes or major changes. Sometimes, small activities can encourage people to think about their health and make positive choices. The Golden Watermelon Coconut Glow activity offered the Asian Tigers Malaysia team a simple way to explore fresh ingredients and enjoy a homemade drink together.

Watermelon and coconut water are commonly enjoyed as refreshing sources of fluids, while lime, ginger, and turmeric add distinctive flavours to the drink. The combination also gives the recipe its bright golden colour and fresh taste.

As with any food or drink, individual nutritional needs and health considerations can vary. The focus of the activity was not on presenting the drink as a treatment, but on encouraging the team to enjoy fresh ingredients as part of a balanced approach to everyday wellbeing.

The recipe is also easy to recreate at home, making it a simple idea for anyone looking to prepare a refreshing homemade drink.

Building Awareness Through Team Activities

Pink October gives the Asian Tigers Malaysia team an opportunity to focus attention on breast cancer awareness while strengthening connections within the workplace.

Regular activities throughout the month can help keep the conversation going and provide different ways for colleagues to participate. From preparing a healthy drink to taking part in future activities, each Friday offers another opportunity to bring the team together.

Teamwork is also central to what we do every day. As an international moving company, Asian Tigers relies on the coordination of our movers and support teams to help customers navigate relocation across borders. From managing household belongings to providing storage solutions during a move, every stage requires communication, cooperation, and care.

The same sense of collaboration can extend beyond our core work. Team activities provide opportunities to build relationships, share experiences, and create a stronger sense of community.

Looking Ahead to Week Two

The first Friday of Pink October was a colourful and collaborative start for Asian Tigers Malaysia. The Golden Watermelon Coconut Glow brought fresh ingredients and teamwork together, giving the team a positive way to begin the campaign.

With activities planned for every Friday in October, there is more to come. We look forward to sharing what Asian Tigers Malaysia has planned for Week 2 of Pink October and continuing to bring the team together around awareness, wellbeing, and community.
