Malaysia, September 30, 2026 – Asian Tigers Malaysia continues to support sustainability by having a fabric waste collection initiative with Kloth Circularity, encouraging employees and customers to give unwanted clothing and fabric items a second chance through recycling.
In 2025 employees gathered 275kg of textiles for this organization. The project is still going throughout 2026. There are approximately 450kg of materials already given this year. We intend to double the amount we provided in the previous year.
For Asian Tigers Malaysia, this is a method to include environmental protection in daily operations. It encourages our team and the communities we’re in to act with more care.
Supporting a Circular Approach to Textiles
Kloth Circularity began in 2017 as the first movement for recycling fabric in Malaysia. It is a primary leader for circular fashion in the region. Textiles are still useful when someone manages them with care. By gathering those materials, we provide a choice other than throwing them away and actively support recycling.
Small contributions can add up. Our 2025 results showed what the staff achieves together. The progress from 2026 shows that we continue to follow this plan.
Making Sustainability Part of the Moving Process
Moving to a different house is a time when residents look at their possessions. Owners often find clothes that do not fit or fabrics they do not use while they prepare for a move.
As an international moving company, Asian Tigers knows that a relocation is more than packing and transporting boxes. It is a time for residents to make choices about what they keep and how they handle items they no longer need.
Our movers regularly help customers manage the practical details of moving, from preparing household effects for transport to coordinating storage when belongings cannot immediately be delivered to their destination. During this process, customers may also identify clothing and fabric items they would prefer not to take with them.
Where appropriate, these items can become part of a more considered approach to moving. Clients can choose to donate or recycle textiles rather than simply throwing them away.
Join Us in Giving Fabric a Second Life
Asian Tigers Malaysia is keeping the fabric collection active during 2026. We want to increase the results we have already achieved.
If you are moving with us and have unwanted clothing or fabric items you would like to recycle, we are happy to collect them and arrange their donation to Kloth on your behalf. This provides a convenient way to participate in the initiative while preparing for your move.
We encourage customers to identify suitable items before packing begins. Setting aside clothing and fabrics that are no longer needed can help simplify the moving process while giving these materials an opportunity to be recycled. Customers interested in participating can speak with our team about arranging collections as part of their move.
Moving Towards a More Sustainable Future
Our partnership with Kloth reflects Asian Tigers Malaysia’s ongoing efforts to make sustainability a practical part of our operations. From collecting unwanted textiles to encouraging customers to consider recycling during relocation, every contribution helps build awareness of more responsible choices.
With approximately 450kg donated in 2026 so far, we are working towards doubling our 2025 contribution and continuing to involve our employees and customers in the initiative.
This aligns with our goal of preserving our Earth. Every small step towards reducing waste makes a difference. To learn more about how Asian Tigers approach environmental responsibility, read our Environmental Sustainability Policy.
Together, we can make more thoughtful choices about the belongings we leave behind and help give unwanted textiles another chance to be used.
Let’s get moving.
