Asian Tigers Indonesia Brings the Spirit of Royal Ascot to the BWA Charity Ball 2026

BWA Charity Ball 2026

Jakarta, May 9, 2026 – Asian Tigers Group proudly supported the 2026 British Women’s Association (BWA) Jakarta Charity Ball, “A Day at the Races,” held on 9 May 2026 at the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta. Inspired by the glamour and elegance of Royal Ascot, the evening brought together Jakarta’s international and local communities for a memorable celebration in support of Rachel House Indonesia.

For Asian Tigers Indonesia, supporting the Charity Ball was about more than showing up. It was a chance to help create an atmosphere that invited connection, generosity, and shared purpose. When people gather for a cause, the details matter. They set the tone, encourage engagement, and help guests feel part of something meaningful.

Designing an Immersive Royal Ascot-Inspired Experience

As part of its contribution to the event, Asian Tigers Indonesia designed and produced a range of immersive elements to help bring the theme to life. These installations were created to complement the overall vision of the evening and to welcome guests into a race day experience from the moment they arrived.

Photobooth installations

Interactive moments help guests participate in the story of an event, not just observe it. The photobooth installations were designed as inviting spaces for guests to capture memories and share the spirit of the night with friends and family.

Stage backdrops

The stage is where key moments are framed, from speeches to announcements. By producing dedicated stage backdrops aligned with the theme, the team helped support a cohesive visual setting throughout the evening.

A life size 3D racing horse centerpiece

A striking life size 3D racing horse centerpiece served as a focal point for the room. Statement pieces like this can energize a space and make a theme feel tangible, creating a sense of occasion that encourages guests to lean in and enjoy the experience.

The “All Enclosure Gate” entrance

Asian Tigers Indonesia also transformed the entrance area into an “All Enclosure Gate” inspired by Royal Ascot. This detail helped set an authentic tone right away, welcoming guests into the theme as they arrived and reinforcing the feeling of a true day at the races.

Behind the Scenes, Craftsmanship and Coordination

Creating themed event elements is both creative and operational. It requires planning, careful handling, and precise timing so that each piece can be installed smoothly and safely in a busy venue. From transport and positioning to final checks on alignment and stability, the work happens quietly in the background, but it is essential to the guest experience.

This blend of logistics and detail is familiar territory for Asian Tigers. We spend our days coordinating complex moves with the same discipline: packing, loading, tracking, and delivering items so they arrive in the right place, at the right time, in the right condition. Whether it is a household shipment, a corporate relocation, or temporary storage for items in transit, the principle is the same. Care is not an afterthought. It is built into the process.

Supporting Rachel House Indonesia

Beyond the elegance and entertainment, the Charity Ball carried a meaningful purpose. This year’s fundraising efforts supported Rachel House Indonesia, the country’s first pediatric palliative care organisation, which provides compassionate care and support for children living with life limiting illnesses and their families.

Pediatric palliative care is often misunderstood. It is not only end of life support. It is a holistic approach to comfort and dignity, designed to ease pain, reduce stress, and support families as they navigate complex medical realities. It can include practical guidance, emotional support, and care coordination, all rooted in compassion.

Events like the BWA Charity Ball make that work visible. They give communities a way to participate, to learn, and to contribute in a concrete way. When a ballroom fills with people who share the goal of helping children and families, the impact extends beyond the funds raised. It builds awareness, strengthens networks, and signals that no family should feel alone.

Why This Matters to a Moving Company

Asian Tigers is known globally as a moving company that supports individuals, families, and organisations through international transitions. Our movers work closely with clients during moments that can be exciting, demanding, and emotional, including relocation for a new role, a return home, or a fresh start in a new country. In many cases, storage becomes part of the journey too, whether for short term flexibility or longer term planning.

Because we work in the spaces between “before” and “after,” we have a front row seat to what community support can mean. A smooth relocation depends on logistics, but it also depends on people. It depends on the care families receive, the networks that welcome them, and the local organisations that provide support when life becomes difficult.

That is why Asian Tigers Indonesia is honoured to support initiatives that bring communities together while contributing to meaningful causes. Whether we are helping a client move, coordinating storage, or supporting a community event, we believe reliability and care should show up in the same way. Thoughtful planning. Attention to detail. Respect for the people at the centre of the story.

Looking Ahead

The BWA Charity Ball 2026 was a reminder of what is possible when organisations and individuals collaborate for the public good. Asian Tigers Indonesia is grateful to have played a part in creating a memorable evening, and we extend our respect to everyone involved in making the event a success.

Most importantly, we recognise the vital work that Rachel House Indonesia provides for children and families across the country. Support for pediatric palliative care is support for dignity, comfort, and compassion. It is the kind of community impact that lasts.
