Moisture Absorption
Asian Tigers Thailand uses small silica desiccant bags in our packing process. This helps reduce the risk of mould and mildew on clothes, rugs, fabrics, etc. However, we also recommend extra protection using imported Strip Container Desiccant (1kg) that hangs inside the container. These strips are composed of specially formulated desiccant made from Calcium Chloride, with a guaranteed absorption rate of up to 300% of its weight. They lower the dew point inside shipment/storage containers to protect cargo from moisture damage, costing an additional THB1225 each. If you would like to add any desiccant strips to your shipment, please indicate your selection below, according to the size of your shipment.
Maid / Valet / White Glove Service
Various levels of service are available to assist you in unpacking and organising your belongings in your new home. These services cater to clients seeking an elevated, stress-free moving experience, particularly in the luxury market. For example, in addition to unpacking, valet services may help with arranging items in cabinets, closets, and drawers. The service ensures that everything is in its proper place without the client (you) having to lift a finger.
Relocation Services
A comprehensive suite of relocation services designed to assist individuals, families, or businesses in moving from one location to another, are available through our sister company, Silk Relo. These services typically cover a wide range of logistical and support tasks to ensure a smooth and stress-free transition. Key services available include:

Handyman Service
Handyman Services can take care of the practical and technical aspects of a move, which can be time-consuming
or difficult for clients to manage on their own, for example:
- *disassembling and reassembling furniture
- hanging or removing items such as televisions, mirrors, artwork, and shelving units from walls
- minor repairs to fix issues such as patching up holes in walls, repairing loose fixtures, or touching up paint
- electrical or plumbing tasks, such as the installation of light fixtures, setting up appliances, or addressing minor plumbing concerns like connecting washers or fixing small leaks.
*Note, standard assembly/disassembly is included as part of our regular moving services. Handyman services would be required in the instance of newly purchased flatpack furniture, for example, or the assembly/disassembly of complex/speciality furniture. Handyman services are subject to availability and at an additional cost.
