AmCham’s 2018 Corporate Community Day Walk for Rice

Twenty Asian Tigers Singapore colleagues joined the many other participants to “Walk for Rice” on 27 October 2018 in partnership with US Embassy, at Bedok Reservoir Park to support low-income families of South East Community Development Council (SE CDC).
This year, 515 people participated in the walk and they raised more than 22,000 bowls of rice for the beneficiaries. This year “Walk-for-Rice” doubled last year’s results. For every 100 meters walked, 1 bowl of rice was donated to a needy family in Singapore.
