The Asian Tigers Group Taiwan was proud to have participated in the Taipei American School Spring Fair on April 16, 2016. This has been the 36th time it has been held, and the annual event organized by the school’s PTA has now been institutionalized as a regular tradition not only for the school community but also for the residents of Taipei. All in all, the fair was one that was full of fantastic food, shopping, games, and entertainment—no doubt, certainly very much one of the real highlights of the year for many families.

The Spring Fair is a critical affair in the Taipei American School calendar, longed and waited for by students, parents, teachers, and the larger community. It’s just a great opportunity of getting everybody together and having fun—good times, hence bringing the community together. It was an event that made Asian Tigers Group Taiwan so very proud to have a share in the fun and excitement the fair provided to all who attended.

The event was buzzing with various stalls and activities that suited all age groups; it was held on the grounds of the school. Food stalls consisted of a great variety of cuisines that were mouth-watering in nature, trying to portray the different international communities found within Taipei American School. There was traditional Taiwanese snack food along with international delicacies—whatever one’s palate desires. Families and friends herded together in the food court to share laughter and conversation over meals.

Another major attraction to the fair was shopping. Many vendors had set up stalls selling a myriad of products, including handmade items such as crafts and jewelry, clothes, and toys. It was a fabulous way to pick up items that would be unique and, at the same time, support local business ventures. People were browsing around, haggling over prices, and discovering new treasures.

Carnival games with prizes to win, face painting, and inflatable bounce houses that kept the kids bouncing around for hours were just some of the activities that really won them over. Smiles and laughter on children’s faces showed that they were really having fun with the activities. Thrilling rides and attractions added an element of excitement to the day for those looking for a little adventure.

The entertainment was truly at the heart of the Spring Fair. There was a stage set up with performances all day long. Students and local artists took the stage to present music, dance, and pieces of theater, which were extremely diverse and ensured that something was on the stage to keep the audience interested at all times. This provided great appeal toward crowds and added to the festive atmosphere. Indeed, these performances were one of the main hits at the fair, just allowing people to realize how much creativity and talent was present in the community.

The participation of the Asian Tigers Group Taiwan helped underline the commitment towards community engagement and in giving back to the community locally through support. The reception at their stand during the fair was very warm, as the team seized the moment to engage the attendees and share in-depth information on the services offered, creating links. With an event that holds such affection, Asian Tigers Group Taiwan would be in a position to give back to the community while entrenching the role as a supportive and active member of the local area.

The 36th annual Taipei American School Spring Fair had great weather and a wonderful turnout; the atmosphere was joyous, with camaraderie at its very best. It was a day of celebration where the school community and Taipei residents came to have great food, exciting activities, and fantastic entertainment. It is an Asian Tigers Group Taiwan honor to be part of the tradition in this move that will make it memorable and fun for those who take part in it.

By the end of the day, everybody was filled with a sense of accomplishment and joy. The fair made provisions for the community to bind closer to one another by leaving some memorable experiences behind and making Taipei American School truly outstanding. Asian Tigers Group Taiwan is looking forward to taking part in the next coming events and to continue helping this thriving society.
