The highlight of the weekend for many was the return of the very common Association of British Women in Malaysia (ABWM) Christmas Bazaar, which was staged on the Sunday bustling with warm, enthusiastic shoppers, and kids energised with excitement over getting in the doors. It was a day of festivity, shopping, and family fun; many considered the event an annual community treasure. This year, Asian Tigers Malaysia is proud to be among the sponsors of the ABWM Christmas Bazaar, beyond the normal contributions, whether modest or huge, made to the association and its activities throughout the year.

As the audience streamed in, the atmosphere was electric, with the bazaar warm, inviting ambiance. The halls are filled with festive decorations, twinkling lights; the air sweet with the delightful smell of holiday treats; everywhere one looks, one sees unique gifts, crafts, and gourmet foods. From hand-made ornaments and jewelry to specialty foods and artisan products, baffling was the variety of items, and any shopper would easily find the perfect gift.

The Bazaar was a success and the Asian Tigers Malaysia had played their intrinsic part. They provided total supportive logistics to make sure everything goes on successfully. Their happy and hardworking team was there all day, helping the vendors and customers. The smooth flow of logistics that the team managed helped the sellers concentrate on their wares and customers and the customers had a good time shopping.

One thing that shoppers really found appreciative at the time was the array of designer yellow shopping bags presented by Asian Tigers Malaysia. Stylish and functional in their construction, these bags instantly became the shoppers’ favorite for their durability and vibrant design. Many left the place with more than one bag full of holiday purchases. Endless variety and appeal. The bags played a big role, not just in terms of convenience of carrying items, but also as something memorable to take home with them at the end of the day.

Aside from the logistics that they provided, Asian Tigers Malaysia manned a welcome booth to inform the visitors about their services and the other activities of the company. The bazaar was a hub of activity for all, with warm smiles from the staff and helpline. It also created another forum for Asian Tigers to maintain their outreach to the general community and to be seen as positive advocates in backing up the ABWM’s effort to support the different charities.

A whole lot of activity was planned right in the bazaar, treating children to whatever reeked of the joy of Christmas. There was the actual Santa Claus, giving out gifts and having pictures taken with the little ones who came to see him. Craft stations, face painting, games, and lots of fun were provided to keep the kids super busy, making the bazaar more like a family festival. Their laughter and excitement highlighted the cheerful atmosphere of the festival even more.

The Christmas Bazaar of the ABWM was not just merely a shopping bonanza but a charitable event; monies made on the day went to support splendidly many community projects and initiatives of the ABWM. The funds that were generated on the day in a cheerful atmosphere by the luxury lunch, games, and raffle reportedly helped lend a helping hand toward the less fortunate and so impacted the world of others within the local community. Boulevard shopping complex bore testament to the hard work and dedication of all ABWMs and their supporters, Asian Tigers Malaysia among them.

By the end of the day, everyone left having caught the holiday spirit and with their carry bags full of goodies. All the appreciations that the participants have shown grabbed the way the event was a great success. Most of them have also extended their thank you messages saying that it was well arranged and had a wonderful experience. By setting up a booth, Asian Tigers Malaysia has now shown that the ABWM is indeed a success in the bazaar. And it did help create a community with a good-will sense.
