In the early hours of January 1, a devastating earthquake, measuring a magnitude of 7.8, struck the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa, Japan. The tremors were felt strongly in the northwestern regions, leaving behind a trail of destruction. Homes were leveled, essential infrastructure was damaged, and the community found itself in a state of urgent need.

Amidst this chaos, Asian Tigers Japan, in a heartwarming act of solidarity and support, stepped forward to aid those affected. In collaboration with the Tokyo Expats community, we mobilized our resources to provide immediate relief to the people of Kaga-city, one of the hardest-hit areas in Ishikawa.

Understanding the critical need for basic necessities, our team dispatched all available emergency food stock, sanitary products, and disposable kitchen supplies from our office. Recognizing that pets are often forgotten in such crises, we also sent over 10 kilograms of dog and cat food, ensuring that our furry friends were not overlooked in this time of distress.

This initiative is just the beginning of our commitment to support the earthquake-stricken region. As a company deeply rooted in community values and humanitarian efforts, Asian Tigers Japan pledges to continue this support, standing in solidarity with the people of Noto Peninsula as they embark on the long journey of recovery and rebuilding.

The outpouring of support and the unity displayed in these trying times is a testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit. We are more than a company; we are a community, and together, we rise to face the challenges ahead.
